The Communication VP plays a pivotal role in shaping and executing the brand's communication strategy on a global scale. With a focus on maintaining brand equity while ensuring agility and relevance in local markets, this role requires strategic thinking, creativity, and a deep understanding of luxury skincare consumers. The successful candidate will lead a team to develop and implement innovative communication initiatives across various consumer touchpoints, solidifying La Prairie's position as a leader in the luxury skincare industry.


Your Responsibilties:


  • Consumer Communication Strategy: Develop and execute a comprehensive strategy for communicating with consumers across various touchpoints, ensuring consistency and effectiveness in messaging and brand positioning.
  • Brand Awareness and Buzz: Responsible for driving brand awareness and generating buzz through strategic initiatives across earned and owned media channels. Leverage creative storytelling and innovative campaigns to captivate audiences.
  • Storytelling Leadership: Lead the development and implementation of compelling storytelling strategies across all communication touchpoints. Fostering emotional connections with consumers and reinforcing La Prairie's brand identity.
  • Content Creation and Social Engagement: Collaborate closely with creative teams. Conceptualize and produce content-rich experiences on social media platforms. Engage audiences with captivating visuals and meaningful brand narratives. Steer all brand social channels & live streaming with captivating and innovative content.
  • Influencer Engagement: Develop and execute a global influencer strategy, identify and collaborate with influencers who align with La Prairie's brand values and resonate with target audiences to amplify brand awareness and reach.
  • Press Strategy and Media Relations: Drive brand awareness through strategic press activity, including media relations, press releases, and editorial placements, strategically positioning La Prairie as a leading luxury skincare brand in the media landscape.
  • Brand Copy Management: Create, develop, and cascade all brand copy. Ensure consistency and authenticity in messaging across all communication channels.
  • Exclusive & Content-Rich Events and Partnerships: Conceptualize and execute exclusive events to foster meaningful interactions with exclusive clients and cultivate unique partnerships. Forging strategic partnerships that enhance La Prairie's brand equity and relevance in the luxury skincare market.
  • Collaboration and Relationship Management: work closely with cross-functional teams in project management, execution and align strategies. Ensure collaborative relations with regions, top markets to drive local relevancy and maintain brand culture while adapting to local needs.
  • Leadership: lead the whole communication team to better work in matrix in a multicultural environment.


Your Profile:

  • Min. 10 years of experience in communication, with a minimum of 3 years in a leading Global Communication function
  • Experience in the luxury beauty/skincare industry (MUST HAVE)
  • Proven record of developing global communication assets, guidelines, fully adopted in all regions
  • Fluent English – Native ; additional French/German a strong plus
