The Global Manager - Logistics Projects is responsible for overseeing and optimizing logistics operations on a global scale. This role is pivotal in driving logistics projects related to inbound and outbound logistics, enhancing warehouse operations, and ensuring seamless transportation management. Stationed as the key liaison to our Control Tower team in Poland, this role demands a balance of project management and operational support, with a focus of 80% on projects and 20% on operational support tasks. The position requires strategic oversight in network optimization and operative support towards freight forwarder management and serving as an escalation point for transportation issues.
How you will create a beautiful impact:

Lead and manage logistics projects focused on inbound and outbound logistics, including warehouse tender support and network optimization.

Act as the primary point of contact and coordinate with the Control Tower team in Poland to ensure project alignment and effective communication.

Support operational logistics tasks, including management of freight forwarders and addressing transportation issues as the primary escalation point.

Develop and implement strategies for logistics process enhancements and cost-effective solutions.

Monitor, report, and improve key performance indicators related to logistics operations.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of logistics projects and lead initiatives for continuous improvement and optimization of logistics networks globally.
What you need to have to be our next audacious and creative talent:

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or equivalent experience in a senior logistics management role.

Proven track record of successful logistics project management and optimization initiatives.

PMP Project Management Certification or equivalent is highly preferred.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of effectively collaborating with cross-functional teams and external partners.

Demonstrable experience in managing logistics operations, including freight forwarder management, operational issue resolution, customs and trade compliance

Ability to thrive in a dynamic, global environment with a focus on strategic project execution.

SAP ERP (Hana) (must) / Transporeon (good) / English (must) / German (good)
Contract duration: 12 months
