R&D (Senior) Formula Engineer & Industrialization

We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically skilled Industrialization & Reformulation Project Manager to lead the reformulation and technical transfer of products from development to full-scale production. This role ensures timely, high-quality product launches and maintains market availability in response to regulatory changes, ingredient updates, or relaunches.
How you will create a beautiful impact:

Reformulation Management: Lead and execute reformulation projects due to ingredient discontinuation, regulatory updates, or cost/sensory optimization.

Technical Transfer & Scale-Up: Coordinate lab trials, pilot trials, and full production scale-ups; manage technical transfers between manufacturing sites (3PMs).

Manufacturing Optimization: Work closely with production teams to improve manufacturing procedures, reduce complexity, and optimize batch sizes and process time.

Quality Assurance: Conduct and coordinate analytical, microbiological, and sensory tests to ensure product quality and compliance.

Problem Solving: Address and resolve out-of-specification (OOS) issues quickly to prevent stockouts and maintain supply continuity.

Documentation & Communication: Develop clear, accurate documentation (manufacturing procedures, test results, risk assessments) and maintain close collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Raw Material Expertise: Evaluate raw material changes and their impact on formulations; update material profiles and support continuous improvement.
What you need to have to be our next audacious and creative talent:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Cosmetic Science, or related field.

Proven experience in formulation development, industrialization, or manufacturing processes.

Strong project management and cross-functional coordination skills.

Analytical mindset with attention to detail and quality.

Comfortable working in lab, pilot, and production environments.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Duration: 1 year fixed-term contract (maternity cover)
