Payroll & HR Services Specialist

Contract Type:  Permanent - full-time
Description: 

The Payroll & HR Services Specialist role at La Prairie ensures accurate, timely payroll operations, manages social security related administration, and supports employees and HR Business Partners with expert guidance. In addition, the position contributes to HR administrative activities across the full employee lifecycle.

 

How You Will Create a Beautiful Impact

 

Payroll

  • End-to-end responsibility for the monthly payroll processing for HQ (currently ca. 320 employees), ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timeliness.
  • Manage year-end payroll closing, including reconciliation, reporting, and coordination with Finance and external partners.
  • Process withholding tax calculations and billing, ensuring correct application of cantonal and federal regulations.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for internal and external requests regarding payroll

Social Security 

  • Reporting insurance claims (illnesses and accidents) to the relevant social security providers.
  • Handling insurance claims and providing support and advice to employees and HR Business Partners on all matters relating to social security.
  • Maintaining and updating employee data for the pension fund.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for internal and external requests regarding social security matters.

HR Administration & Employee Lifecycle Support

  • Support administrative processes across the full employee lifecycle, including onboarding, employment changes, and offboarding.
  • Prepare employment-related documentation such as contracts, confirmations, and amendments.
  • Maintain accurate employee data in HR systems and support digital HR processes
  • Actively participate in coordinating and executing HR initiatives focused on enhancing processes, systems, and the overall employee experience

 

What You need to have to be our next audacious and creative talent 

  • 3 years of experience running payroll processes end-to-end
  • Education: Payroll Diploma and HR Diploma as “Sachbearbeiter*in Personalwesen” or HR Assistant or HR Fachausweis or “Sozialversicherungs Fachausweis»
  • Knowledge in HR Services (lifecycle topics, employement law)
  • Proficient in social insurance & social security
  • Experience with payroll systems, SAP Payroll & SuccessFactors are preferred
  • Self-driven, prioritization capability, and results oriented.
  • Trustworthy, detail oriented, reliable, flexible, service oriented
  • Required German & English fluency, French is a plus
