Head of SDVM Procurement

The Head of Store Design & Visual Merchandising Procurement leads the global procurement strategy for Store Design & Visual Merchandising (SDVM) and manages a global team of Procurement Managers based in US, CH and CN. The role ensures value creation, innovation and supplier excellence across all SDVM categories while driving key global and regional projects and supporting the business with deep procurement expertise and functional leadership.
This role requires strong procurement acumen, understanding of the luxury retail environment, and the ability to interpret technical specifications for stores or VM components.
How You Will Create a Beautiful Impact
1. Strategy & Governance
Own and develop the global SDVM procurement strategy, ensuring alignment with overall company and retail transformation priorities.
Define and deploy global category strategies, ensuring regional input and maximizing scalability across markets.
Act as strategic business partner for the SDVM Stakeholders for La Prairie and Chantecaille.
2. Procurement Business Partnering
Lead global procurement activities in close collaboration with cross-functional partners (SDVM, Retail, Construction, Finance).
Identify opportunities to increase Procurement’s value contribution and define multi-year roadmaps.
Supervise global negotiations (TCO, prices, payment terms, quality standards) within the SDVM category portfolio.
3. Performance Management
Set top-down targets for the global SDVM procurement team, considering market dynamics and cost drivers.
Monitor performance achievement and initiate corrective actions when required.
4. Procurement Processes & Systems
Drive process enhancements with focus on standardization, efficiency, automation, and integration of new technologies.
Ensure compliance with legal requirements, procurement policies, and accurate use of data across systems.
Contribute to continuous improvement of global procurement standards and methodologies.
5. Supplier Management
Lead the qualification, selection, and performance evaluation of SDVM suppliers.
Build and maintain strong relationships with strategic suppliers to ensure capability, innovation, and long-term competitiveness.
Partner with suppliers to co-develop innovative solutions in fixture design, materials, sustainability, and execution efficiency.
6. People Leadership & Development
Lead and inspire a global team of Procurement Managers located in the US, CH, and CN.
Develop talent, build capabilities, and support individual development plans.
Provide functional leadership to regional/local procurement specialists involved in SDVM-related activities.

- Luxury business understanding: Knowledge of luxury retail environments, store concepts, VM standards, premium materials, and brand experience requirements.
- Technical understanding: Ability to interpret store layouts, fixture drawings, technical designs, materials, and manufacturing processes.
