Head of Global E-Retail

The Head of Global eRetail will be responsible for driving La Prairie’s e-retail business growth by building strong partnerships with global retailers and leading the implementation of tailored digital strategies. This role will work closely with local markets to ensure the effective execution of the global e-retail strategy, maximizing sales and brand presence across all e-retail channels.

The role will focus on three core areas:
1. Commercial Strategy & Partnership Development

Own and develop the global e-retail strategy, including the geographic expansion plan to drive growth in key and emerging markets.

Design a scalable and future-proof structure for e-retail operations, ensuring long-term sustainability and adaptability to evolving market trends.

Align the strategy with overall business goals, working closely with regional teams to adapt and implement initiatives that maximize sales and profitability across omnichannel retailers and pure players.

Establish and maintain strong, win-win partnerships with top global retailers, negotiating joint business plans to optimize growth and profitability.
2. Retailer Engagement & Content Optimization

Lead the creation and execution of tailor-made content strategies for e-retailers, ensuring best-in-class digital shelf presence and product detail page optimization.

Collaborate with global and local teams to elevate e-retail content, including SEO, visual assets, and CRM/eCRM activities, to drive engagement and conversion respecting local market specificities.

Partner with local markets to implement La Prairie’s luxury e-retail strategy, focusing on shopper marketing, retail media, and enhanced online client services.

Track and audit digital shelf performance, providing actionable insights to improve content and visibility.
3. Performance Management & Cross-functional collaboration

Monitor and analyze global e-retail sales performance against market benchmarks and competitors, providing actionable insights to senior leadership.

Support local Digital & E-Business Managers in negotiations and strategic planning with retailers, maximizing the ROI of COOP and marketing investments.

Ensure all e-retail activities contribute to La Prairie’s brand objectives while adhering to global guidelines and budget requirements.

Work cross-functionally with local market teams and global departments, including marketing, CRM, merchandising, IT, and logistics, to align e-commerce strategies and initiatives.
What you need to have to be our next audacious and creative talent:

Degree in business, engineering or equivalent.

About 8 years of relevant professional experience driving E-Retail business within the beauty industry.

Strong track record in delivering successful online growth in partnership with eRetailers & pure players

Ability to work with agility, ensuring adaptability to navigate fast pace market trends.

Experience working in cross-functional environment with a diverse stakeholder set and able to influence without direct authority.

Solutions-oriented profile with proven ability to deliver sales results and creative solutions on time and on budget.

Language: Fluent in English.
