Procurement Manager - Temporary (6 months)


Zuerich, Zurich, CH, 8008

Contract Type:  Temporary - full-time

In this role, you are in charge of the operational procurement activities related to the third-party manufacturers (3PM) and Raw materials categories, being directly involved in cross functional projects and discussions with the suppliers.



How you will create a beautiful impact:


  • Develop strong relationship with the cross functional team and suppliers, to be able to support the operational business needs and ensure availability.
  • Own the tendering process - running supplier biddings, RFI/RFPs & evaluating results for a supplier decision from a TCO (Total Cost of Ownership) concept, together with direct manager.
  • Negotiate short term commercial terms and conditions with Suppliers.
  • Maintain and update ERP system in relation to procurement information.
  • Monitor suppliers service levels to ensure compliance and uninterrupted availability.
  • Plan and initiate activities aiming to cost optimization and KPI improvement, according to priorities and targets.
  • Ensure all activities are conducted within the frame given by internal and external compliance guidelines.



What you need to have to be our next audacious and creative talent:


  • University degree in procurement, technical or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 5 years working experience in procurement, preferably in an international environment or complex organisation.
  • Ideally experience within supply chain environment.
  • Sound knowledge of MS Office, preferably SAP r/3 (MM) module.
  • Analytical, structured, and result-driven working habits.
  • Good communicator and likes to collaborate with various teams.
  • Very good written and spoken English.
  • Can-do and go-get attitude, entrepreneurial way of thinking, ability to adapt to a dynamic environment, leadership skills
