Junior Packaging Designer

Role / Purpose

We are looking for a talented graphic designer in support of overall creative strategy, direction and vision. Specializing in graphic design and being in detail-oriented, the designer will be ready to implement on full array of creative assets for new or existing products as per the marketing strategy.


Main Accountabilities


  • Assist Packaging Art Director to drive the creative direction of primary and secondary packaging, with a solid understanding of typography and layout
  • Communicate on a daily basis with the brand managers for packaging requests
  • Implement concepts, renderings or presentations (e.g. photo retouching, re-shape contour, comping)
  • Manage and maintain updated the packaging guidelines and archive
  • Organize and work with outside vendors to produce product comps and engage design solutions
  • Liaise effectively to ensure final graphics and layouts are visually appealing and on-brand
  • Support and communicate with the packaging team throughout the development and implementation of projects
  • Offer input to creative direction and share ideas



Knowledge, skills and experience:


  • Bachelors degree in Graphic Design
  • 2 to 3 years of graphic and package design experience, luxury industry experience is a big plus
  • Demonstrable graphic and packaging design skills with a strong portfolio
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite: InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop. Experience in 3D software like Rhino is a must
  • Organized with a strong sense of time management, and has the ability to simultaneously handle numerous projects in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment
  • The willingness to listen to feedback, incorporate feedback and take direction well
  • The ability to see projects through from inception to production
