Description:
Summary:
Design and develop a comprehensive Communication strategy – focusing on Digital marketing, Media & PR - to build Brand Saliency and to support/promote innovations, within the framework of overall Marketing strategy agreed locally and reflecting global/regional directives.Translate strategy into plan and execution to address local business challenges and achieve agreed goals.
Responsibilities:
Overall Communication & Digital strategy development, planning and execution
- Develop Communication plan (including Brand and Innovations support) addressing local business targets while reflecting global guidelines.
- Drive Brand desirability through 360 Communication activities.
- Scout the market for innovative Media, format and practices to maintain the Brand’s relevance
Digital
- Develop media strategy and planning
- Plan and manage outreach to KOL and other stakeholders to generate online content including SNS channel for the public.
- Strategize the eRetail roadmap as one of the corner stone of the regional distribution. With the support of the region develop co-marketing eRetail plans and eRetail negotiation practice.
- Check competitors online activities.
Media & PR
- Develop and excute annual Media plans and manage budget effectively & find effective tools.
- Arrange and execute PR and e-PR stakeholder events.
- Translate and adapt Global materials for local activation.
- Maintain close relationship with beauty editors to maximize the Brand’s visibility.
- Organizing offline and online events where relevant.
Luxury Outreach
- Organize events for other potential stakeholders / Brand ambassadors (e.g. Voices program) from the local communities of VIPs, influencers, socialites
- Scan the market for potential partnership opportunities with relevant businesses
Requirements:
- University degree or equivalent tertiary qualification
- At least 5-year experience in COM & Digital MKT- preferably in Luxury and Retail.
- Knowledge of local Media landscape and emerging trends.
- Knowledge in field of PR and ability to engage and bond with relevant stakeholder communities.
- Strong sense for luxury execution – combined with ability to connect own activities to business/Client-related KPIs.
- Strong communication skills and ability to influence and network with internal and external business partners/stakeholders (especially local Retail Team and regional/global teams).
- Japanese native level. English proficiency is required.
