Area Retail Manager

Position Summary:
This position is responsible for growing retail/net sales and maintaining a high level of La Prairie presentation in stores through excellence in client journey management.
Responsible for achieving and maximizing targets by ensuring luxury excellence through effective recruitment, management, and people growth. Securing the market share growth of La Prairie.
This position has direct responsibility for the development of the department store business and its results.
Working closely with Sales Director for business growth planning and tracking. Monitor closely for perfect execution leading to successful results.
Responsibilities:
Business Planning, Execute, Follow up
- Develop and execute business plans.
- Achieve annual sales targets by ensuring execution of the store action plans
- Analyse weekly/monthly/annual sales forecasts, monitor retail KPIs and provide direction regarding the actions required for achieving the monthly sales target and improving retail KPIs
Manage and Develop Counter Staff
- Develop Counter Chief and BAs through the performance management process
- Conduct recruiting activities with HR for hiring the best counter staff
- Effectively plan and manage the HR process (staff transfer, promotion, etc.) in collaboration with HR for smooth on-boarding and improve retention.
- Promote actions for counter staff development in collaboration with Training Team
Supervise Store Operations
- Provide support to Counter Chief for handling claims from customers and also deal with claims himself/herself when needed
Manage Department Store Business
- Directly contribute to the success of the Department Store events, Gaisho opportunities in collaboration with the CRM, Marketing, and Retail operation.
- Analyse ranking data and monitor competitor activity in each door providing business insights for action plan
- Develop strong working relationship with Retailers – Mainly Buyer ,Gaisho department, and Floor managers.
- Store development – Support Sales director for providing supporting data to identify opportunity and to conduct department store negotiations including opening and renewal
Requirements:
- Deep understanding of Retail KPI
- Language: Basic English skills for both verbal and writing. TOEIC 700 or above preferred but not a must.
- Minimum 3 years of RETAIL experience with rich RETAIL knowledge. Preferably luxury brands or excellent knowledge of the skincare industry
- Team-player, strong leadership
- Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills
- Advanced using Microsoft Office
- SAP, Qlick View, CIGID experience would be an advantage
