Role Purpose / Mission:
Provide data-driven insights & decision-making support to contribute to successful business results. Through the design and development of analytical dashboards / reports using various technology including Power BI, Excel, QV. Be a strong partner to retail / finance & marketing function to improve sales, profit, investment decisions and to drive efficient business processes while ensuring budget and forecast accuracy.
Main Accountabilities:
- Be a key business partner providing sales, market and investment analysis.
- Consult and challenge business proposals (where needed) and suggest improvements.
- Collect retail sales data from all retailers for interface to Qlikview and local database building (per door / product / collection) to ensure accuracy and completeness for reports generation across all channels
- Responsible for validating retail data upload into global tools (TR, department store and spa)
- Build retail sales plans in conjunction with CRM and Demand Planning Managers
- Interpret and communicate retail sales performance and identify opportunities to improve
- Support with product & sales planning during annual budget process.
- Prepare new door opening/ renovation feasibility P/L in conjunction with all stakeholders and coordinate approval process in Syreta
- Prepare financial reports, analyse and provide insights as required for local, regional and global team.
- Gather requirements of business needs, from multiple datasets, to design and develop relevant reports / analysis tools for financial reporting to facilitate improved business decisions.
- Assist on ad hoc projects and analysis, system administration and reporting deliverable for required processes.
- Develop and foster solid relationships with key stakeholders across the company with the goal of learning and implementing best practice.
Requirement:
- Degree holder in Commerce with CPA / CA qualification
- Highly experienced in data analytics, financial modelling and visualisation
- Minimum of 5 years’ relevant experience in similar industry
- Advanced MS Excel skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with financial judgement, high attention to detail, able to work independently
