Retail Operation Specialist

Job Purpose:
A pivotal role in supporting sales team by effectively managing daily store operations.
Focus on optimizing various aspects of the retail business to maximize sales, provide client satisfaction, and ensure a seamless operation to the sales team.
Main Accountabilities:
Responsible for supporting retail business to maximize sales growth through stable operation
Data Analysis and Report
- Analyse and report daily / weekly / monthly / annual sales and KPI, identifying trend and challenged areas
- Generate monthly incentive results and share with relevant stakeholders
- Manage sales figures with Controller by accurately recording transactions
- Collaborate with Finance team for monthly closings
- Report competitors’ sales and activities and identify trends
Operational Support
- Assist in implementing sales and marketing initiatives to enhance store performance and productivity
- Support administrative tasks to enhance operational efficiency – managing official documents, maintaining retailer directory, promotional communication update, etc.
- Actively contribute to strategic projects including store openings, relocations, renovations, and closings
- Review and support collateral / amenities / supplies order, delivery, usage, inventory, disposal, etc. in stores within given budget
- Arrange store cleaning and monitor maintenance
- Support store and office team for POS system implementation, issues, and maintenance
- Support organizing local events and promotions in collaboration with marketing, HR, Finance, IT, SCM, etc.
- Resolve and assist employee challenges applying detailed knowledge of policy, procedure, and practice
- Provide needed support on general / ad-hoc requests from the stores
Inventory and Sales Management
- Assist sales team and SCM team for physical inventory check
- Coordinate and manage product price changes
- Follow up on inventory and sales adjustments and closings
Others
- Manage logistics including expenses, PO, invoices, etc.
- Coordinate and prepare sales related meetings – market visits, monthly counter manager meetings, annual kick-off meetings, weekly meetings, etc
Knowledge, Skills and Experience
- University degree in Business or related discipline preferred
- 1-3 years of hands-on administrative working experience. Preferably in cosmetics or luxury retail field
- Good PC skills including MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Strong interpersonal and analytical skills
- Positive, strategic, structured, detail oriented, accurate, responsible, self-initiated, agile, and well-organized problem solver
