Marketing Manager

Contract Type:  Permanent - full-time
Description: 

Role Purpose

In accordance with Brand General Manager, define Marketing strategy for local market reflecting global/regional directives.

Execute the marketing plan to ensure meeting set objectives in Brand Equity, Sales (quality & quantity), Market Shares and Financials (Margin, Budgeting).

 

Main Accountabilities

  • Overall Marketing Strategy development, planning and execution
  1. Define, plan and execute local Marketing activities – orchestrating the métiers into one integrated, synergetic strategy/plan – to achieve the agreed Company targets. Constantly monitor progress, report results and proactively propose solutions/measures to address deviations on the base of sound business/Client understanding and analyses.
  2. Manage Margin development and given Marketing Budget, maximizing ROI – in collaboration with local Finance team.
  3. Closely liaise with local Sales function to translate Marketing directives into clear instructions for the Retail front-line; monitor front-line performance; provide support/solutions where needed; analyze and cross-fertilize key learnings.
  4. With local HR support, monitoring the effective and efficient allocation of tasks/R&R to optimize and streamline key processes.
  5. Liaise with Regional and Global Marketing teams to ensure consistency of local strategy/execution to global guidelines and luxury execution standards. Contribute to the development and roll-out of new initiatives, share knowledge and best practices.
  • CRM
  1. Develop and implement CRM strategy and actions to achieve business objectives & goals in terms of key CRM metrics (Client retention/development).
  2. Develop and implement activities to foster conversion of prospects into loyal Clients.
  3. Create, design and execute offline/online events for Clients.
  • Product & Digital Marketing
  1. Develop and execute Product launches in line with global strategy and directives, maximizing Luxury SkinCare Collection share.
  2. In collaboration with Retail/Sales function: develop merchandising tools at POS, presentations, promotions and define sales target for product launches. Provide Product plans and Sales forecast. Ensure seamless 360˚ activation of key Innovation/Renovation initiatives.
  3. Monitor market and competitors’ activities, drawing learnings and implications for the Company.
  4. Steer and manage e-Commerce activities
  • PR, Media & Communication
  1. Define, plan and execute activities to build Brand Saliency through visibility on paid Media (traditional & digital), SNS and through PR / e-PR initiatives.
  2. Explore new Communication initiatives and collaboration opportunities.
  3. Create, design and execute offline/online events for PR& Media partners/stakeholders.
  • Team leadership
  1. Develop and engage team members to ensure all initiatives are carried out smoothly and in good partnership with internal and external partners/stakeholders.
  2. Strengthen Marketing capabilities within the team.
  3. Activate external coaching/resources where required.

 

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

  • University degree or equivalent tertiary qualification
  • At least 15 years experience in Marketing – preferably in Brands operating in the fields of 1/ Retail; 2/ Luxury and 3/ SkinCare/Cosmetics.
  • Experience in leading teams.
  • Strong analytical capabilities and fact/figure-driven decision making and action planning.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to influence and network with external and internal business partners - across functions, with regional/global stakeholders.
  • Fluent in English.
