Salary Range: $90,000 USD - $135,000 USD
The Manager, Planning will work closely with the Director of Sales Development & Planning to shape overall account strategy. They will develop sell-in and sell-through forecasts, negotiate stock and sales plans, deliver net shipment targets and manage the overall inventory mix across key accounts. The role requires strong organizational skills, advanced technical proficiency, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Main Accountabilities:
Inventory Management
- Manage omni-channel inventory for all wholesale accounts by door and SKU, ensuring alignment with location plans, sales trends/mix of business, and WOS objectives
- Project, monitor, and report on progress against financial monthly shipping goals. Proactively communicate any risk and/or opportunities to the Director of Sales Development & Planning
- Drive seasonal line edits and RTVs with key account partners, ensuring retailer replenishment matrixes are up to date and aligned with the current assortment and healthy min/max parameters
- Monitor and proactively address fill rate performance and out of stock SKUs with demand planning and account partners
Forecasting/Allocations
- Manage sell in/sell out projections for both new launch and replenishment SKUs in collaboration with marketing and demand planning, ensuring accuracy and alignment with sales forecasts and account strategies
- Participate in the Annual Budget Planning process through the development of detailed product forecasts and replenishment projections for the following year
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Manage order approvals and releases in collaboration with the customer service team and our logistics partners
- Lead communication on all inventory-related topics on retailer calls to ensure OTB plans are aligned with internal goals
- Work closely with the field team to address stock opportunities in key SKUs/locations
Position Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, Experience)
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Minimum 5-7 years of experience in planning, wholesale experience preferred
- Strong business acumen and understanding of retailer open-to-buy reporting and retail KPIs (WOS, inventory turn, average stock)
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- SAP experience strongly preferred
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for cross-functional collaboration.
- Analytical mindset with ability to interpret and present data effectively.
