Business Manager


Role Purpose: Your mission will be to act as the “La Prairie” expert in our partnering location.  You will be providing courteous and high quality service to customers, building a loyal customer base, developing new clients, and meeting or exceeding sales goals.


Main Accountabilities:

  • Maintain counter of 1
  • Drives retail sales by achieving/ exceeding the established daily, weekly and monthly sales goals
  • Provide customer service to exceed customer expectations
  • Assumes responsibility for each customer through opening, servicing, closing and follow up
  • Performs cosmetic makeovers and consultations; handles skincare as well as color/fragrance consultations and applications
  • Maintains a high level of product knowledge; educates customers on products and new items
  • Recruits and services customers by making appointments and phone calls and sending emails through store clienteling system
  • Keeps current on upcoming special events, product information and general business information
  • Manages and maintains all samples at counter. Tester replenishment, counter cleanliness
  • Receives and processes cash and credit card payments
  • Enterprising/Problem solver


Knowledge, Skills and Experience:

  • A minimum of 3 years of cosmetics/skincare sales experience
  • Superior customer service skills
  • Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed sales goals
  • Demonstrated knowledge of products and services; ability to use knowledge to inspire customers to make purchases
  • Experience in and success in prospecting for and developing new clientele
  • Ability to work as a team player in a fast paced environment, handling multiple priorities and quickly learning new products and procedures
  • Highly dependable; flexible to work various schedules and some holidays
  • Fluent in Mandarin a plus
  • Luxury sales experience
  • Receptive to direction and flexible to change
  • Expertise with WeChat and Social Media
  • Retailer position hourly +3% on personal commission
  • +1% override for Counter Manager responsibilities
  • Competitive salary based on experience
