Retail Manager Nord Italy

Description: 

In this position you drive retail sales in Italy and together with the Sales & Retail Director you will define the retail plan per POS and implement the marketing calendar. You ensure the brand image and Visual Merchandising guidelines are respected in all POS and you will recruit, lead and manage Beauty Advisors (BA) to achieve service excellence based on La Prairie standards and guidelines.

 

Your Responsibilities

 

  • Lead, coach and manage a team of excellent Beauty Advisors and Counter Managers

  • Identify training/coaching needs for each BA and liaise with the education department to ensure best possible support

  • Set KPIs and targets allowing to increase sales and ensuring a high touch service level.

  • Ensure the implementation of the CRM program, in line with global guidelines. Monitor CRM clients database and set targets to the team in order to maximize data collection results

  • Ensure that the merchandising guidelines are adhered to and that collateral, samples and other support is used to maximize retail effectiveness within the agreed timeframe

  • Define and update retail plan and ensure it is implemented and followed

  • Take ownership of BA budget and control BA costs accordingly (incl. BA expenses and commissions when applicable)

  • Submits monthly reports, detailing retail sales, best practice and monthly updates

  • Identify consultant’s induction needs to ensure good customer service, selling skills and achievement of goals within first months of employment

  • Create and motivate store teams that work together to meet and exceed targets

  • Review KPIs at both individual and store level vs required targets and benchmarks & implement a recovery plan where required

  • Work closely with Training Manager to identify area training needs and notify ongoing needs

 

Your Qualifications

 

  • Experience: Over 5 years, preferably luxury skincare brands or excellent knowledge of the skincare industry

  • Strong retail and sales experience

  • Strong leadership and management skills

  • Structured approach to planning and KPI measuring

  • Energetic and outgoing personality, passion for selling and people

  • Team player

  • Willing to travel min 50% of the time

  • Abilities to work with MS Office (excel and power point)

  • Fluent in Italian and English
