Education Manager

Contract Type:  Permanent - full-time

In this role you will be responsible for the company’s Education & Coaching activities in the point of sales. You will support the General Manager to define and ensure the implementation of the local strategy, ensuring that all programmes of the La Prairie Retail Academy are rolled out in timely manner and the team is trained and coached on in luxury execution.


Your responsibilities:


  • Defines and implements local education objectives, priorities, strategy and plan, aligned with Regional Education vision, strategy, guidelines and programmes.

  • Manages and controls the Education budget to ensure the company gets the best return on investment and all budgets are managed in line with % of sales objectives.

  • Collaborate with Regional Education team to provide training plans and forecasts and inputs into company pre-forecasting processes using the latest market and retailer information available.

  • Responsible for carrying out all necessary training for the team with the support of the local retail coaches.

  • Ensures the implementation of all Retail Academy Training Modules and Art of Beauty Trainings accordingly to Regional guidelines for the upskilling of all Beauty Advisors by identifying skills gaps and future learning requirements.

  • Ensures consistent Luxury Execution in Education as per Regional Brand Luxury Execution strategy and guide.

  • Defines and supervises the alignment of all training and coaching activities to effectively impact the Regional Retail KPI’s.

  • Manages the Coaching team to ensure all doors are visited, and coaching is conducted on a regular basis, defines an action plan including a follow-up, when additional coaching is required for individuals.

  • Manages all aspects of the Training and Coaching team, ensuring objectives are set and regular reviews take place, encouraging everyone to develop and maximize their performance.

  • Acts as a true brand ambassador of our Luxury House and education strategy, to positively influence and elevate the brand, Luxury Collections, science and heritage knowledge of the local Beauty Advisors and retail team, in collaboration with the retail and marketing team.

  • Responsible for overseeing all communication with Regional teams as well as delivering any internal or external presentations within scope of responsibility


Your Profile:


  • Previous experience in a similar role managing a team of training managers and coaches

  • Previous experience working with a luxury brand

  • Familiarity with e-learning platforms and digital learning practices

  • Organizational, management and leadership skills

  • Communicative, proactive team-player with high level of reliability and integrity, good at building relationships.

  • Computer Skills: Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

  • Willingness to travel (30-50%)

  • Fluent in English and Italian
