We are looking for an enthusiastic and dynamic person to join as Accounting Internship in Madrid, to provide a detailed service. Passion, excellence, and care must be the driving forces behind the day-to-day at La Prairie.

 

This is a 40 hour per week contract, Monday to Friday.

 

RESPONSABILITIES

 

  • Charge invoices and expenses to the corresponding accounts and cost centers analysing supporting documentation

  • Reconcile vendor statements, researching and correcting discrepancies

  • Respond to all vendor and client inquiries including payment status and statement of account issues

  • Purchase orders creation and follow up

  • Assist with month-end close procedures including researching postings and open purchase orders

  • Budgeting support

  • Intrastat submission

  • Maintain current accounts and reconciled bank accounts

  • Document archiving

  • Complete other responsibilities as assigned

 

REQUIREMENTS

 

  • University Degree in Economics or Business Administration

  • Fluent in English and Spanish

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office

  • Well organized, accurate, proactive and efficient personality as well as trustworthy, reliable, and flexible

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for use with internal and external partners

  • Ability to analyse and present financial data

  • Sees change as an opportunity to do things better and faster
