Head of Retail Education UK & ROI

Description: 

Are you based in London and interested in working for a Swiss luxury brand known for their pioneering cellular anti-aging therapies? Then La Prairie may be of interest to you. As the Head Of Reatil and Education for both UK & ROI you will be respobsible in developing and implementing education and training strategies, in line with Global guidelines to enhance the Field teams skills, performance, and employee engagement. You will lead  the development of retail programs focused on training/coaching Beauty Advisors and regional trainers. Managing a team of two you will oversee all education activities, plans and schedules for the full year ensuring all education activities are highly engaging, inspiring and motivational for the Field teams.

 

This is a field-based role that will involve travel and overnight stays.
 

Main Accountabilities

  • Develops and executes the UK & I education strategy in alignment with the local and global business objectives, creating high performing teams and unforgettable customer experiences
  • Leads the implementation of the La Prairie Retail Academy and its education programmes as well as learning and development paths for Beauty Advisors 
  • Leads implementation, update, evolvement of training programmes on selling, service and Retail Mindset branded as: Art of Service, Art of Perfection and Retail development to ensure that the brand stays one step ahead with regards to high-touch service and in-store CRM.
  • Leads the creation of all product/novelty training materials and tools.
  • Develops both a strong retail, client and product culture with all our Beauty Advisors and Field teams.
  • Creates and develops promotional programmes for in-store events and consumer consultation activities.
  • Strategises, creates and develops managerial training programmes with the objective to constantly motivate Beauty Advisors to increase their productivity.
  • Support the Field management team with leadership training
  • Focus on the education teams impact on employee onboarding, Aurora/CRM training, soft skills training, and career progression training.
  • Develops specific training programmes for regional trainers to constantly upgrade their knowledge on training/animation techniques and their skills to lead and roll-out the la Prairie Retail Academy programmes.
  • Asses the ROI on education training/events and tailor programmes for the year accordingly
  • Develops and updates Art of Beauty trainings and protocols.
  • Supports the Retail teams in ensuring global grooming guidelines are followed.
  • Follows global mystery shopping program. Analyses results to identify opportunities and proposes new tools and activities to improve BA performance. 
  • Works closely with key Global Marketing functions to ensure that the Beauty Advisor is always at the center of the consumer journey and our 360 programs: 

                  - Store Design & VM: all sales service and sales protocols/ceremonial programs 

                  - Strategic Innovation & PR: for all novelty programs

                  - Brand Developemt: 360 plans

  • Works closely with the global education team to ensure the UK is aligned to the company vision and education roadmap.

 

Knowledge, Skills and Experience 

  • Extensive experience in education and training within the beauty industry (luxury a plus)
  • Proven track record of building and delivering inspiring education programmes across the UK
  • Passionate about luxury skincare and exceptional customer experiences
  • Very strong brand and product affinity
  • Strong retail experience and expertise 
  • Excellent presenter, outstanding communicator and motivational speaker (ambassador role)
  • Beauty Therapy qualifications
