Global External Relations & Events Director

In this role you will develop, plan and implements press & public relations strategies in line with marketing plans and business priorities across our different countries. You will conceptualize and oversee the execution of events, from PR to POS. You will draw global partnerships and oversee local collaborations with tiers, in the respect of brand image.
How You Will Create a Beautiful Impact
• Directs global public relations and communications strategies and oversees their local implementation.
• Creates all the press material & guidelines to communicate all brand news, with a goal to ensure increased local press exposure.
• Monitors and challenges press core visibility by establishing clear KPIS for the countries.
• Helps countries in securing media interviews and product placements via trade, print, broadcast and web media
• Explores and creates new PR opportunities to increase brand image; researches new partners with which to align La Prairie, and helps expand La Prairie’s image among consumers
• Directs global events strategy: big idea, visual codes & excellence in execution for key product launches, from Coms to Retail application, and oversees their local roll out.
• Creates guidelines to accompany events production at a local level.
What you need to have to be our next audacious and creative talent
• Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field
• A minimum of 10 years of relevant in-house experience in global markets coordination, preferably in cosmetics/skincare or luxury products
• A solid understanding of the Company’s market and products
• Demonstrated experience and leadership in Event management: concept, production, roll-out
• Proven track record in brand building and executing effective branding initiatives
• Ability to maintain a consistent voice in communicating the Company image
• Superior interpersonal, written and verbal communication, and presentation skills
• Ability to manage in a changing and dynamic environment
• Creative savvy with a strong interest in PR, influence and POS events.
• Strong decision-making skills and the ability to execute on decisions
• Ability to work effectively within established budgets
• Strong planning and organizational skills and the ability to meet deadlines
• Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office
