Assistant Education Manager



Contract Type:  Permanent - full-time

Role Purpose / Mission: Equip Beauty Advisor (BA) and Beauty Therapist (BT) essential knowledge on brand, science, products and service to quickly build confidence to enabling them to be able to integrate the learning into service journey to drive service and business KPIs.  


Main Accountabilities:


  • Responsible for the planning, preparation, implementation and follow up of the education programs according to the global direction, local education strategy and marketing calendar.
  • Organizes & prepares training and materials – Translation, training material, BA workbook/ handbook (digital & hard copy format), training dates arrangement, e-learning videos etc. Adapts and localizes the deliverables to fit local needs.
  • Cultivates BAs on Art immersion to exhibit the uniqueness of the House of La Prairie through service journey.
  • Strengthens La Prairie Product Experience Ceremony at floor level. Observing and coaching for the effectiveness and the quality of the execution.



  • Leads and develops BTs on skill and service competency through regular protocol and service training to ensure BTs performing high quality service to showcase the exceptional luxurious service of the House.
  • Involves in BT recruitment to identify best candidate by assessing their facial treatment skillset and the overall service quality.



  • In charge of the online learning management system (LMS) and works closely with global education team.
  • Makes use of the e-learning to enrich BA’s knowledge on brand, science and products.



  • Supports PR & CRM events as Brand Ambassador to introduce/ present La Prairie’s brand, product and innovation creations.
  • Conducts Beauty Class Workshops to clients according to CRM programs to drive repeats and loyalty to the brand.



Knowledge, Skills and Experience:

  • At least 3-5 years of training and education experience
  • Expereince in Luxury Skincare Retail
  • Excellent skill and knowledge on facial treatment and skin science with qualification of ITEC certification
  • Excellent Business acumen, being able to translate theory to reality
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills to large audience
  • Good translation skill. Strong communication and interpretation skill both in writing and spoken Chinese
  • Structured and organized in planning with strong follow up skilling. 
  • Positive, self-motivated. good team-player, multi-tasking. problem solving. strive for excellence, embrance challenges & changes
  • Proficient in MS applications (Words, PowerPoint, Excel)
  • Expereince in Learning Management System / e-learning is a plus
  • Good in English, Mandarin would be ideal
  • University graduate preferred
