Quality Improvement Specialist

Contract Type:  Permanent - full-time
Description: 

To strengthen our Quality Team at Swiss Cosmetics Production (SCP), a member of the La Prairie Group, located in Berneck (SG), we are looking for a team-oriented, reliable and self-driven proactive personality to join us as a Quality Improvement Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible to drive continuous product quality improvement, to manage new product developments from Quality perspective and to plan, develop and implement strategies, projects, and other solutions for Quality Management.

 

Your main responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, maintain and further enhance continuous improvement system of the manufacturing site
  • Design, implement, and continuously improve robust risk assessment frameworks, problem-solving strategies, change management protocols, and process optimization tools to enhance manufacturing quality and efficiency
  • Provide quality insights and act as a single point of contact for the end-to-end launch/relaunch (IIM) processes
  • Create, implement, and refine essential procedures, training initiatives, and comprehensive quality reports
  • Quality responsible for innovation, renovation and optimization projects
  • Promote a culture of quality throughout the organization
  • Audit Readiness: Lead & support audits from external regulatory agencies (FDA, ISO, Product Safety), customers, internal audits and to lead the preparation activities in advance of such audits
  • Conduct all work in compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP-ISO22716), Good Laboratory Practices (GLP), ISO9001 requirements

 

Your profile:

  • Completed Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Chemistry or a comparable scientific/technical field
  • 1–3 years of professional experience in a comparable production or manufacturing environment
  • Excellent supervisory and delegation skills
  • Strong skills in statistical analysis, risk assessments and problem-solving techniques
  • Meticulous and detail-oriented personality
  • Excellent organizational and time-management abilities
  • Solution-oriented and structured working style
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Very good written and spoken communication skills in German (at least B2) and English (fluent)
