Global Demand and S&OP Manager

Contract Type:  Permanent - full-time
Description: 

In this role, you are responsible for developing state of the art demand planning and process capabilities, in alignment with the E2E SC Planning Strategy. This role will also develop innovative, forward-looking process capabilities, while being accountable for process performance KPIs that support business metrics (Forecast Accuracy, Forecast Bias).

 

 

How you will create a beautiful impact:
 

  • Prepare data and material for monthly S&OP meetings that will facilitate decisions around equipment, labor and all other resources needed to support demand over the S&OP planning horizon.
  • Coordinate and facilitate the monthly S&OP meetings to achieve the demand plan consensus including strategic, product, sales, and marketing activities as well as supply plan balance and constraints/gaps.
  • Understand the linkages between distribution requirements planning and other supply chain processes such as supply planning, inventory planning, production scheduling, MRP, and transportation management.
  • Utilize business knowledge to creatively evaluate situations and adopt a "big picture" approach when implementing solutions.
  • Conduct historical sales trend analysis at the regional brand level to establish key demand drivers for the SKUs/brands/market (leverage brand & consumer insights, category mix, sell-in & sell-through trends, external category/market trends) and collaborate with Affiliates to adjust the forecast to ensure we deliver an unbiased forecast for the entire planning horizon.
  • Become the valued business partner for the Affiliate teams.
  • Work closely with Affiliate in Asia on planning/executing the activation and ramp-up for new products as well planning/managing other product-life-cycle phases.

 

What you need to have to be our next audacious and creative talent:

 

  • University degree in Engineering, Marketing or BA, or similar.
  • 8 to 10 years’ experience in a global/regional demand planning position.
  • Strong experience with S&OP processes.
  • Experience working in an international environment within the consumer goods industry, ideally luxury.
  • Leadership skills with ability to nurture networks with peer groups to bring new and fresh ideas to the Global E2E planning organisation.
  • Being analytical with deep understanding of performance metrics.
  • Exceptional communication to influence business outcomes.
  • Excellent written and spoken English.
